In the meantime, I fixed a little issue with seacock access and confirmed that the Gusher manual bilgepump I rebuilt in January 2011 (and hasn't been used since) is not working. Always something. Better to know now than when I really need it!

Good news - bad news this week. The good news: I finished the watermaker. The bad news: It is not coming up to pressuure. I talked with Rich and he gave me several things to check and try in order to fix it or pin-point the problem. I won't be able to do it until tomorrow's high tide, so check back next week to see what happens.

Quite a turnaround this week. I may have fixed the freshwater fill leak
without having to cut open the saloon sole.
(The big test will come in a few days.)
The watermaker is almost done.
(Just waiting on the drive belt for the high pressure pump so I can
connect the last two hoses.) I also
reorganized my tools so they are much easier to find and keep organized. A big clean-up still ahead, but that’s just
prep for a little shakedown before a longer cruise. Yeeeeehaaaa!!!
