The Saga of the Vessel Circadian

Unusually low temperatures this week created some extra challenges. I had to take measures to warm adhesives and coatings to get them into their usable range. My little electric heater went into the aft cabin so it would be warm enough for things to cure properly, and my little fireplace wasn't quite up to keeping the main cabin warm on its own with the dorade vents open and the overhead just bare fiberglass. Nonetheless, it was a good productive week: got a lot done with good results.

Lots of weather today: gale warnings, chance of rain and low temperatures in the thirties in the forecast. Did I mention that King Tides are causing some problems further north? Ah, well. No matter. I've got my fireplace and heater going, so even though the wind is howling and the boat is bouncing around a bit, I'm snug and warm.

It took a while to get back into the project groove after the holiday hoopla, but I've made some good progress. I've been working both inside and outside depending on whim and weather. Some of the aft cabin projects are coming close to fruition, and it's exciting to see things finally starting to look good after so many months of work.

2012: The Year in Flowers

Throughout 2012 I've tried to photograph and post at least one flower image each week. I thought it would be nice to post all them together and see the year in flowers.
