My friends Mike and Lisa arrived this week on their big beautiful catamaran 'Footloose,' so I've spent quite a bit of time with them while giving them 'the tour.'  Even took Mike out to the lagoon and gave him a photography lesson.  Curt is going to play coronet in town this afternoon, and it's Mike's birthday today, so things are busy.  Jim is coming on Saturday, so we could leave as soon as Sunday.  I'll have plenty to do before then, but it's doable.  No rest in paradise!

Mike and I went out in his dinghy to do some bird photography
in the lagoon.  Unfortunately, it was too cloudy for great pictures.

Lisa is happy with her latte at La Taza Negra
in Melaque where we went to buy coffee, shop
and eat lunch.

La Taza Negra is a popular place for cruisers, ex-pats and
even locals.  Best coffee around.

Wednesday was market day in Melaque.  Big market with
lots of clothing and household items.

What could be better?

Mike tries blowing the conch shell he bought from
a boy selling them on the malecon in Barra de Navidad.

More street sounds of Mexico
