I've added some more photos (taken with film cameras) to last week's cruise post, so take a look.  This week started with tackling the list of projects developed during the cruise:
   - Make wire rope dinghy bridles
   - Secure the engine exhaust loop with thru-bolts
   - Install a handle on the aft lazarette hatch
   - Replace the shower sump pump
   - Install anti-rattle pads on head and forward cabin doors
   - Flush the outboard and run the fuel out of the carburetor
   - Find out why the autopilot is beeping
   - Move the spare anchor to the bilge
   - Replace the chain stopper
   - Repair the broken shelf on the refrigerator door

I completed all of them with exception of the anti-rattle pads and the chain stopper.  Checking those off is just a matter of getting the items.

With the new list essentially handled, it was back to work on the aft cabin.  I recovered the long oak boards from their temporary shelter in John's storage unit and literally started back into the grind.  It's a lot of work, but as it progresses, I can see it's really going to look nice!

  1. A good return to the work list this week, Capt G.

    Mysterious pump was a lark!

Those battens would drive me crazy after a while, but appreciate the varnish job which turned out nicely.
