In and around Barra de Navidad

Mary's restaurant in Colimilla

You can sit right on the beach if you want to, but it gets wet
at high tide.

I had a guest join me for lunch.

Bananas Restaurant for brunch with Curt and Mary

Later we went to Melaque to do some shopping and took
one of these Ubercitos from a coffee house to the market.

This is the Hawaiian Market in Melaque where Barra
cruisers go to get things not found in the little Barra stores.

It's not very big, but much bigger than the ones in Barra

A few boat projects

A 3 am surprise thunderstorm led me to
put up my lightning rod/ground.

The heavy wire leads from the rod at the masthead to
this spare-foot copper plate in the water.

I helped Curt solve a problem with his battery
charger.

A trip back to the States

I left from Manzanillo Airport, which is very small,
but modern.

Not much in the way of amenities, but there were some
nice touches.

No jetways

Got a nice view of the Barra de Navidad area after take-off.
Circadian is in the red circle.
