Saw the Porsche and Low-Rider exhibits as well as taking the additional "vault" tour.  The vault tour costs extra, and no photos are allowed, but you see a lot of very special cars.

The Ocean Institute is an educational resource for schools

The Pilgrim, a replica of the bark made famous in Dana's
"Two Years Before the Mast" is part of the Ocean Institute's
program.   The cliffs on the left are the ones from which
sailors once tossed steer hides for loading onto the
original Pilgrm.

The exhibits blend serious learning with fun.

A guide gives visitors a tour of the labs and facilities.


While it is not an aquarium, there are a variety of live
specimens available for viewing and study.
