Isla Pasavera
The cove on the southeast side of Isla
Pasavera was small and lovely, and because I was the only boat there,
quite comfortable. Once settled, I took the kayak ashore to explore
the island. A trace of a trail led off the beach and up the hill,
but dwindled to nothing within about a quarter of a mile. The island
is obviously seldom visited and remains unspoiled. The bird life is
abundant and the brown boobies let you get quite close. I enjoyed my
visit, but left the next morning for Bahia Tenacatita, a 30 mile run
south.
